  • Basic Profile & Saved Events Bookmark favourite activities

  • Community Challenges (30+) Monthly and seasonal activities
  • Volunteer Hours Tracking Verified community contribution
  • Points & Levels Bronze → Silver → Gold progression
Phase 4: Community Rewards Partnership
🤝 How It Works:

Third Sector + Local Businesses + System Rewards = Stronger Community

  • Local businesses offer discounts and gifts
  • Third sector organizations sponsor challenges
  • System matches and tracks all rewards
🎁 Example Rewards:
  • "10 volunteer hours = 20% off at Craigmillar Cafe"
  • "Litter pick challenge = free hot chocolate"
  • "Gold level member = priority event booking"
  • "Completed youth program = training certificate"
Connecting it all: Badges + Challenges + Volunteer Hours = Rewards from local businesses who believe in our young people.
Phase 5: Youth Pathways
  • Apprenticeship Connections – link volunteer history to training
  • Skills Passport – portable record of achievements
  • Local Employer Hub – businesses find engaged young people
Phase 6: Wider Integration
  • Council Recognition – official community contribution
  • School Links – curriculum for excellence connections
  • Grant Tracking – help young people access funding

A wee girl or earns her first badge at a summer playgroup. By 16, she's or he has got 200 volunteer hours, a Gold level, and a local business offering her a Saturday job because they've watched her grow. That's not a calendar. That's a community investing in its own future.

Coming together: Residents engage • Businesses reward • Third sector supports • Young people thrive
