Community Campfire Event

Community Campfire Event

Tuesday 5th November
Time: Gates Open at 5pm

The Greater Craigmillar Community Campfire Event was created as a positive response to the challenges the area has faced in recent years during traditional firework celebrations. Craigmillar has seen its share of difficulties on Bonfire Night, with issues stemming from unsafe firework use and antisocial behaviour.

This event is part of a broader effort to bring the community together and create a positive, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone. By providing a family-friendly alternative, we aim to change perceptions and show that Craigmillar can be a place of warmth, fun, and unity. With activities like a woodland light show, campfire-themed food, and peaceful entertainment, we hope to rebuild the reputation of our community and offer a new way for families to celebrate safely.

We invite you to be part of this positive change and enjoy this event.
